Hi,

I'm new to the site, but have been making metal sculpture for some time.
Here's some pics...

Also - I am looking for a new workshop or shared space with a like-minded metalworker.
I'm currently in Epping, and am looking to relocate closer to London if possible.
I have MIG, TIG, MMA, Oxyacetylene, Plasma etc.

Please let me know if you know of anyone who has too much space or a whole unit to rent.

There are quite a few arty types here, and a lot of guys having a go at finding their creative side.

I look forward to much renewed communication.
Did you get your plasma cutter yet?

The pictured weldvessels are steel, lined with resin and lacquered.
I'm on the stainless steel ones currently, which are mostly looking good.

Had some problems with cracking, as the wall thickness was less than the steel ones (I was using up SS tube i've had lying around for a while), on the vessels that have a lot of weld, or I have brazed.

I'm also making some rusted garden ones, which are looking great, i'll post pics soon.

Just had a browse on Pondman's site too - nice work, haven't ever seen pond covers like that. Really nice spiders - cleverly made bodies.
Blacksmithstris and me go back almost 20 years, but live far apart these days.

Almost 20 years is true - I used to meet up with Tam, You and Deb after you lot finished work at Tower records and go to the pub. But don't worry, you'll never get old.

I find these icons unexplainably tempting to use.

If you click on your name on the top right of this screen, that will bring you to another page and on the top left there will be a "users cp". If you click on that there will be a list and I think you're looking for the edit signature one, you can add your website there.

doh, just realized that the user cp tab is on every page.

user cp>> halfway down on left hand side it says 'edit signature'
