Welding Trolley Castors

Evening all,

When I built my welding trolley I put some 50mm castors on it from eBay that were advertised as heavy duty with ball bearings etc.. but they haven't lasted long at all, the wheel itself broke.
There is a fair bit of weight on the 4 of them, two gas bottles, Inverter MIG, TIG, Plasma etc..

I've had another look on eBay and theres so many that have claims of being heavy duty and taking 600kg, but I'm not sure I believe the claims.

Has anyone got any recommendations as to ones they've bought which really are heavy duty?

i usually avoid any far eastern stuff that states heavy duty.

Cheap as well. Only a quid for four and you get some free scrap as well.

I got some from screwfix that carry two welding gas bottles and two welding units.

The far eastern ones of the same size collapsed.

Those big wheely bins are good downers as well, you know the sort outside restaurants kitchens etc

i buy my castors from machine mart and seem good quality for the money. plus if you head down to the store they have them on the shelf so you can see and get a feel for the size and quality you need.

im a big fan of looking stuff over in the flesh before commiting to buying, so rarely buy stuff off the internet like this.

Shame we never really have any castors around work or I'd recover some from there, will keep an eye out and try my local scrap guy.
