I keep weld.com on my YouTube subscribe list for when I need a laugh. For example, Mr. TIG demonstrates how to gassless TIG weld with flux core wire.

The guy just dribbles nonsense.
Mr tig.............. What a joke. Have you seen him weld anything other than 4 inches across a pre set plate. I have about once. It was embarrassing. Best bit was there was no close up of that particular weld either. Wonder why????? Probably to do with the fact his wondering hand has his arc all over the place trying to weld round a tube.
I don't knock anyone for there welding ability usually good or bad but when you call yourself mr tig you've gotta live up to that name. That Twit certainly doesn't. Rant over. I refuse to watch him.

its actually embarrassing to watch - i recently 'endured' a video recently when i youtube'd 'aerospace welding' and up crops mr.arc wander with a video butt welding some tube, and fillet welding a tube to a thick plate.
i was horrified by the torch angle and excessive heat he was putting into the part by lingering at the start of the run, and a torch angle you wouldn't see in first level weld school. it was horrendous, and the end result naturally was equally so.

like Richard, i would never run anyone down learning or otherwise and would always try and help, but when this guy calls himself Mr.Tig and makes money off teaching people rubbish technique he needs to be called out.

what i just cannot get over is his list of past employments or qualifications from Nascar to NASA and eveything in between, im sorry, NASA? i wouldnt trust that tube on toilet roll holder.
If i ever become an astronaut, il weld my own stuff, thanks though Mr.TIG

Which phrase is it as I refuse to watch that channel as he gets on my nerves, same goes for chuckie who's turned into an advertising hore for anyone who sponcers his now dire channel but on the other hand jodie is awesome as always.

Agree about ChuckE too. He keeps popping up on any welding search but I can't get past the first few seconds of his voice.
