I'm not a welder. I need help with a tiny, tiny job, either someone doing it for me or a cheap DIY method.
I want to weld together 3 labret studs. A labret stud is effectively a tiny machine screw. When someone has a piercing in eg an earlobe, this is the little screw they push through to lobe to screw on eg a spike or a ball. I want to weld 3 of them onto a thin spine around 2 cm long to end up with 3 parallel screws approx 1 cm apart.
The problem is that the job is too small to be, so far, able to find anyone willing to do it. Failing that, can I do a cheap diy? I've seen tiny spot welders on Temu, well under £50. I'm so frustrated that I'd willingly fork out that, plus or minus, to weld it myself. I would love to weld something!! It doesn't have to be super-strong, but is has to be cheap as I can't see what else I'd ever weld.
So 2 questions. (1) Can anyone suggest where to get it done, or able to do it themselves in the UK? (2) Is is realistic to DIY it?
Many thanks
