Hi,
For a little practice project i'm going to make a link pipe for an exhaust, got 5mm plate for the flanges and 2in dia 1.5mm wall tube, so not too thin.
Question is, do i set the welder up for 1.5mm thickness and weld in the middle or go the next setting higher on the power and aim at the plate a little more instead?
any thoughts or advice would be ace! will do a bit of practice first on some spare material...
its a clarke 135TE if it makes any odds
Cheers
Andy
