Cool,neat idea,but i still dont like the look of those,they do need bracing up underneath,what weight do these come in at,dont look the easiest thing to move around

Oh yes, I still have to build supports underneath. They are not too heavy at the moment but the bracing will ramp up the weight.

not been funny but why do people learn to weld on something that could be life threatening I learnt on scrap metal and parts that realy didn't matter 1st

Serves me right for asking on here. A lot of egos are lapping it up like a little cat's tongue. I'm 54 and still have all my limbs. I've used table saws, grinders, hydraulic jacks, worked under cars many a time, and I am still in one piece, so I must be doing something right.

I'm 61 and done all them things and have sailed close to the wind a lot of times and got away with it fortunately.looking back I would have done it diffrently so not realy getting at u . just saying some things aren't a good idea

And yet you're that clever that you needed to be told that 1mm wall was too thin for car ramps. I've worked with plenty like you, older and got away with it by sheer luck for years. You get told that what you're doing is wrong and the toys go out of the pram because "that's how I've always done it"
the only ego problem here is yours, as much of a tool as you come across I've no wish to be reading about one of your relatives finding you pancaked under your car when your shonky crap has folded.
