Yes! it is sometimes easier to level tubes than take sizes.

Here's a pic of my "do everything bench", 12' long X 30" wide, 1/4" top. I welded big nuts on the bottoms of the legs to give adjustability. 2" square tube legs.

Here's mine. It's about 1/2 inch thick - very good for hammering on. Came from a guy who used to like going to auctions and bought all sorts of rubbish.



There's another bench he left behind that's been sitting outside for a couple of years. It's 1.5 inches thick. I want to use it rather than weigh it in - it'll go in the lean-to for dirty or heavy work.

My weld bench 6 x 4 made from 1/2 plate and 4 x 4 angle courtesy of Bruntons in Musselburgh the last house I bought the guy left it behind. Have tapped 12mm holes at various locations for bolting jigs to also the vices.The drawers are for holding consumables.

Its a bar twister similar to one a guy made on here, I find it easier with the wheel, it is actually easier with a piece of 50 x 6 with a square hole in the middle but you have to straighten the bar out a lot more.

this bench is 6x3 5mm sheet, legs and frame are 80x80. i have a 3" lip at the front so i can grip work in vice grips. there are a good few holes in the top now as i tend to bolt jigs etc straight on.

I sure do. Built the plow, mounting bracket, winch mount, roller fairlead, weight rack and the tire chains. No stopping this little thing. The bin in the back has 100 lb's in it.
