It's probably not relevant to this thread but it's still worth a mention just in case:
I once had an issue with some anti-spatter spray when I took some stuff for galving.
It had burned a glaze around the weld and the galv wouldn't take so I had to go and collect the parts and shot blast them before taking them back for galving.
Can't remember what brand it was but suffice to say it went in the bin.
