Nice repair Russ. If there's something I do enjoy it's seeing something saved rather than scrapped, especially when it's a bit exotic like this.
Now that's interesting. I was at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum last week showing my Son just how many different innovative manufacturers Britain had years ago. Your mention of Scott's brought up a cobweb memory of a two stroke manufacturer who machined little scollops horizontally down the barrel to retain more oil and I seem to remember it was Scott but this memory was from over sixty years ago. I would love to know I didn't make that upNice repair. The Silk was based on the Scott Flying Squirrel.
