I've got a peice of (what I presume is) mild steel box section which was galvanised, although I've now ground all the coating off, so it's just bare metal all over. I'm planning to use this to practise welding joints together, should I be aware of any safety issues regarding the fumes galvanized steel gives off, or is it a problem now that I've got rid of the coating.
I always do welding outside, so I presume that's already a well ventilated environment?
