It is in rorty's chicken **** welding section though, id have thought rorty was posting it as a example of how NOT to build one of his chassis

He's a designer who does all sorts of good things to vw based beach buggies, and his workmanship and designs are first rate. He can sometimes be found lurking on the mid engined locost sites and the stuff.

Looks like some of the welding on the underside of the kit car I'm rebuilding

Mine's not pro standard but jeez!

Wish I'd seen the welding before I used to lob it into corners

Many thanks for that link jugs. I am now so proud of the brackets I made for my TV aerial.
Wifey says I over-engineer everthing, but compared to the poo pictures it's just fine.
