Hi
I need to weld some M10/M12 nuts onto the outside of a 60mm tube, to make a tightening thingy onto a scaffold pole inserted inside the 60mm tube. This is part of the base of a theatre set so not especially load bearing.
What's the best thing to use? The square weld bolts with the four little feet - are they made for spot / machine welding or will they mig weld better than a normal hex bolt? Or a flange bolt and fill the gaps at the edge left by the curve of the tube?
