Welding lessons in sevenoaks area?

Hi,

I live in sevenoaks area postcode tn13, and am looking for welding lessons.

I am about to embark on the long, but rewarding process of building a locost sports car and the one skill i don't have which i require is mig welding. have been looking on here loads and will soon be getting my welder but would feel better if i had been given a bit of practical tuition.

if anyone knows of anywhere in or around where i live that i could get welding lessons i would be really grateful? even if it is just one weekend in your garden shed from an experienced diy welder i am sure that would still be very helpful. would also be helpful if it was somewhat car related.

the films on here are really good but there is something to be said for live lessons.

Crawley or East Surrey (Redhill) colleges both do evening classes. Used to be a 10 week course (1 evening a week) which will be plenty to get you started.
Failing that, pop round your local engineering company (though can't think of many in sevenoaks) and tap up someone in there. There's one in Brasted up next to Jewsons (DC Harman) and one just down the road from the big garden centre opposite the waste tip on the A21 / M25 junction.
