welding in the cold

hope to be doing some mig welding at the weekend,just wondered if you haft to warm up the metal with a blow torch as i will be outside. cheers

On mild steel its not usually necessary, but it will do no harm. I'd knock the chill off it.

I'm sure that would'nt hurt. It will give you something to put your hands on to warm them up
