Welding helmet lamp

Just an off the wall question, are there any welding helmets which have some kind of work light built in? Something to illuminate the work area. Would only need to be a LED type of thing.
with my old eyes I find it easier to have the weld pool lit up with a CREE LED torch which got me thinking…..
My plan is to buy one of those hinged head torches and fix it on with a couple of screws but it might be nice to have something already made for the job.

I think it was on a clarke or it may have been on an MB15, not sure it would fit much larger

The LIDL autodarkening helmet also has an automatic LED light which comes on when its dark.

I've not used it enough to know if its any use mind....

just buy a magnetic led work light , and position it where it pleases you ,,, dont buy an expensive one , they get destroyed if your in tight places , in fact get a couple of rechargeable ones then you have one on charge and one in use ,, or a spare for when you melt the first one .

I am of the same thinking as Tom. I just have cheap but good magnetic lights. A decent one is about a fiver and you can stick them round where you are working.
I will find them online but they are a copy of a sealey which was nearer £15

Don't know what helmet you are using but when I switched over to the true colour lens I found that I only needed a background light on the work because I could see a lot better with the new style of lens vs the old green one I was using before.

Buy a couple of cheapy battery head lights, (the type that goes on your head not the car...) stick on the front of the lid positioned to suit, instant improvement. Only costs a few quid and takes minutes to do, I just used the hot glue gun, works well and easy to remove if you need to. When they get too splattered, you can change them easy enough. Have put this on all of mine, works well..
