Welding helmet headgear

This is a miller digital elite helmet. The problem is I am constantly having to turn the adjustment knob on the headgear - I can never get it tight enough. Every time I tilt the visor up or down, the helmet goes loose on my head.
I was wondering if it is possible to get a replacement headgear which would fit this helmet. Not one the same one, but maybe a universal headgear.

find the right size , drill a small hole through both straps at the overlap and bung a cable tie in ,,, jobs a good un

If you measure it, some of us can measure the lids they use and go from there

But @tom2207 suggestion is what I’d be looking at

Most lids have very similar attachments for the headband.

If your otherwise happy with it, Id firstly check the screw on the knob is tight, loose might be why its slipping. If that doesnt help, dissasemble and check if the pinion rack is worn.

Just a word on how I solved the problem of the loose helmet. I opened up the foam part of the headgear and put some extra material in there to fatten it up. This made a good improvement. I also bought a bandana which keeps the headgear tight on my head.
