Welding Galvanized Pipe

Hello ever one, I had a quick Question has any one ever weld Galvanized pipe. If so what kind of mig Flux core wire do you recommend? I know that the fumes are bad I plan to wear a mask under my helmet and get as much of the Galvanized off of the pole as I can, as well as put an exhaust fan. When I weld Galvanized pipe in the past it always come out crappy. Any suggestion on Welding Galvanized pipe or technique for laying down a good bead would be appreciated

Best to stick weld, use a 6013 or a 6011 rod, the zink must be removed with a grinder wear a good quality mask with a p3 filter none of these cheap crap nuisance dust masks, trust me you don't wand galv flue, I had it last year, was ill for weeks, full body felt like I had arthritis all over your body and feel sick for days, you'll only get it once

You need to get every last trace of coating off of the parent material to weld it succesfully
