When i said/typed "2bar pressure" I meant set the pressure at the regulator.

Its being years well infact 12 years since i have done any gas welding. I would go back to my welding notes. To give you a more precise answer.
But the problem there is their in Belfast and im in England.

Just don't wind up the acetylene pressure too much - above 15 psi it becomes very unstable ( which is why it is dissolved in acetone in the cylinder). W/A

The regulator will be pre-set not to give 15 psi or more even if wound up fully, best not to try it though just in case.
3Rs I don't understand ,2bar (29 psi) 2bar square (58 psi), these are not gas welding pressures. Are you not thinking of 2 psi?

Sorry to have confused you.

2bar from Oxy and 2Bar from Acetylene (2 Bar square) well thats what i was taught when serving my time have equal amounts of pressure coming from each reg.

2 bar is 29 psi way to much, think you have your psi and bar mixed up. Easy done, my favourite is mixing up Centigrade and Fahrenheit!
