That wouldn't help me as I need the padding directly opposite the adjusters.
Other than that my hat is really comfortable, forgot to mention it's one of the Miller "The Joker" design ones.

My problem area seems to be about an inch above the left ear, where the strap goes and (knowing my luck) is most likely directly under where the adjuster is.

Don't tempt me, I have Tiger Seal, I have towels and I know where me lug 'oles are, but in the mirror that all changes.

While they pad the wrong area might just be enough to make a difference i.e. due to the space they take up the pressure points move. I use 'em on the top hoop as well as the brow pad. Their squashy enough that i can run the headgear loose enough to make it a loose slip fit but grippy enough that i can nod the hood down without it falling off/moving around with positional work- not something i can do without the pads.

With a previous mask they made a huge difference as while comfortable the head gear was quite stiff i.e. instead of easily conforming to head shape when 'snugged up' it didn't have much give in some areas which meant either run it loose and flopping about or having it a bit too tight which quickly becomes uncomfortable, especially when it's hot

If they don't do the job used as intended can always cut 'em about so they fit closer to the sides

Big Boss Man. I sometime get nasty head aches linked to protective head ware, eg welding bucket/face shield etc this hot humid weather makes it worse, I often end up adjusting the head band which seems to help. Might be a slight link to the weather? I can remember geting bad headaches just before getting my eyes tested, these first showed up when welding, they cleared up on getting my specs.
