I presume you are based somewhere near Leeds being as you don't have a location stated. If so Weldequip is not far from you and has a very good peputation, so I'd start with him.

got a new arc welder from machine mart and got 2 packs of rods from there, seemed cheap at the time, previously got mig mire from screwfix on a cheap bargain day.
also got mig wire in the past from Maxess, but need to keep eye on their prices and add the VAT ???.
