God now there's a name I haven't heard in a moon or two, the North Sea Tiger, a legend.......in his own lifetime........ is he still around the other sites.....?

Just curious, how is it you're self taught but have access to a workshop and tig equipment?

Errr... I too am self-taught on TIG; bought myself an AC/DC set new, got a bottle of Argon through work. Not saying I'm a :cough: 'good welder' mind, just that I couldn't find a secondhand TIG set at a price I wanted to pay so I bit the bullet and went for a new one on the basis that if I couldn't use it, I could always sell it.
It's still here... - and I have two workshops to play in
