I built a welding trolley when i got the gys168 tig + plasma cutter.
Fitted them both in place for one job, then had to remove both for another job off-site.
Never put them back on the trolley - its now getting closer and closer to the scrap pile.
I don't really think they're neccessary for the modern inverter sets - maybe for the gas bottles, but not for the welders themselves.
Obviously, if you've got an big transformer buzzbox, or an oil-filled, then yes.
