Do assure me these welding books are not copyrighted by someone else.

Folk that write books don't do it for fun - generally they hope that they'll sell some copies to recover the cost of their time. Without that they'll not be writing any more useful books. So if they hold the copyright it's unfair to pass copies around for free on the internet.

If it takes a year for someone to write a book (and I couldn't do it in that time) so there's some serious lawsuit money that I would have to pay if I happened to let people share copyrighted books on here. Publishers have more money than me and we would go the way of both UKwelder and parrot with a single lawsuit.

Just so you guys know. If you would like me to remove any posts I'd be happy to do so. PM would do the trick.

They don't have to mention copyright - it's assumed and is up to you to check.
