Hi all.
I bought a narrowboat a while ago which was full of covered-up holes. They are being plated over at the moment because that's far above anything I could learn to do any point soon. The hull and the inside of the cabin is finished, with the engine bay left. The whole thing needs sanding and painting, which has been waiting until after welding.
I asked about covering the doorway and painting some of the inside on weekends when nothing is happening, but the welder said about welding dust. Professionally you would wait for dust-making activity to finish first, but I wondered painting the metal on the inside would be acceptable if, there are a few days gap for it to dry, and it is cleaned before applying a second coat as and when. The boatyard dragged their feet for a long time and the weather is better and there is LOTS to do.
Would love to know your opinion.
Hope this isn't a stupid question.
Thanks
