My steel supplier / quincaillerie are great - they find me quite amusing and now greet me by name on arrival, they’re very patient while I try and find the right words for what I’m after, I’m now getting free steel delivery and cutting for sub 6m lengths.
I do get by with the language but really am a beginner, confinement has meant no lessons for most of last year, but every week I end up knowing a bit more than I did the week before, though I’m not helped by very kind French people practicing their English on me.
Everybody else does, why should you be singled out for a flogging?I have bought mine 2 weeks ago in a spanish shop. They send to UK. 599€ (In spain shipping is free)
Can I put the link or is banned to link shops?

Awaiting further info.
It was the basic 200P, need something to do a couple of exhausts.
Just listened to some bloke ranting outside a burger shop about bits from Holland (I THINK, due to mention of "effin cloggies") being cancelled.
Ho hum, at least my vaccination for Monday has now been confirmed (NHS). Maybe afterwards I'll be able to beam one over with the power of my mind. Or glow in the dark and weld tube by staring at it.
Received this morn:
"Hello, unfortunately the owner resigned from selling to the UK in the new year. Sending a package involves a lot of documents to be filled in and additional fees.
It is not profitable for us.
Sorry again."
The reason I wanted one of these over the other Chinese offerings is a Polish workmate tells me the Sherman are fairly well regarded over there.
£239 on ebay, also from Poland.

May just go with that.
Was it the 206p TIG or another model?
Maybe @www_weldes_de could explain what's happening with shipping to the UK if it's not the 206p?
if you’re desperate to get the job done you could borrow one of my TIG sets (assuming you’re passing by Edinburgh for work reasons soon enough...!)
Hi,
Polish distributor block us with this device, because we selling it to UK.
Unfortunately we stop selling to the UK at this moment, because we receive information from GLS and UPS, how to send the packages... (17 pages manual in powerpoint) it's just not worth of it, because if some documents will not completely filled, then GLS/UPS will send package back and we have to pay double for the shipment even though it did not arrive in the UK...
Maybe in the future, without customs check we will resume selling to UK...

For items over £135 or €200 there should be no change with paperwork. Would you allow buyers to arrange the collection from you?
What happens if our machines get a fault, no service or warranty now?
Cheers Mr Roo, no hurry, I'll just mig the 2 little repairs I have to do on it for the moment.
I could actually travel via Edinburgh as I'm NHS, work in Glasgow and just say I'm detouring because of weather if stopped. :-) Until Plod took one look at my tyres, my neighbour asked if I was planning a trip to the Arctic when she saw me fit them.
Just as Wee Nicola locked us up, I bought an engine on ebay, pickup from Accrington. Somehow don't think the 390mile detour excuse will work for that though. We'll see at the end of the month.
There is quite a lot of M way traffic, up significantly from the first lockdown, approaching +75% of normal I'd say
There are some people in europe that don't read neither German nor Polish
That's why they should keep the english version open so I can read
