No where near 3k Gordon.View attachment 95909 My son has just got a non working AC/DC tig set, It came from a school and is reputed to have had little use, However i think it is one of those chinese models a few years old that had lots of knobs for adjusting settings, includes a pedal and was told the school had paid around £3000 when new, I will try to get more make and model details later, Does anybody had recommendations for a decent repairer in the Uxbridge area,
Many thanks Gordon,

There's nothing to say that the college didn't pay that for it.
Cmon.............
You know as well as I do that no college has paid 3k for that set.
There's nothing to say that the college didn't pay that for it. Wether it was worth that is another question entirely![]()

I have though and had good service from them, they bought a very dead draper tig set back to life and its performed perfectly ever since, i use it for site repairs so it dosn't exactly have an easy life.At first it was an honest typo, but then I thought it looked amusing so I thought I'd leave it.
Please don't infer anything from it, I've never had any dealings with them.
