Welder on a budget?

Hi,
This is my first time on the forum.

I am an experienced welder but havnt done so for a few years now and i need to buy a welder. I used to have a cemont three phase welder for heavy steal work but have been without that for many years.

I want to make railings and gates about 5m thick material and i need a welder thats not going to break and is cheap.

I know its not a lot but my budget really is £350- £400.
I was looking at a redline swp 210amp at £360..... is this any good?
Has anyone got any recommendations, i am a bit out of touch with what makes are any good now.

I make railings etc with a Portamig 235 and its brilliant but above your budget, have you considered a 2nd hand arc set for a while, not totally ideal but would allow you to build up some profit for something really good that will last for years.

I should imagine the 5mm will be the frames, the infills are more likely to be 12mm bar or similar.

If your working from a home workshop then I'd be looking at an Oxford Oil Cooled Welder

If your after a site set then a small 140 inverter would be the way to go.
