Hi all, well my recent purchase of a genset 7/250 welder has just gone back due to the fact that it was not producing enough volts on the 240v, and thanks to the advise on this forum it went back.
This is the second fault moden unit I've had so looking at the old lister petter arc welders on ebay 250464123794 or 280378713000.
Whats the opinion on these welders I know they are AC but been told that they are high frequency which is better than 50 Hz???
But are they harder to strike an arc or indeed weld in general?? and what about filters etc,
Thanks
Jools
