Hehe, gotta keep trying Steve Haven't decided whether I really NEED one yet but trust me, you'll be the first to know .
Ooh, 1000th post, I talk too much!
Problem with many internet shops or suppliers, is that is exactly what they are suppliers, you tell them what you want they will supply. But if you dont know what you want your stuffed. Difference with weldequip is that he is a welding distributor that has a shop that deals with the trade and the public on a face to face basis, the internet is a secondary outlet, not his primary outlet. This normally means you get good service with good advice, not something you get with internet suppliers only
And also as has been said before, Weldequip will just as well talk you out of a sale as talk you into a sale! If he thinks you don't need it he won't try to sell you it.
This is the type of thing i was referring to with my thread http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=4773 If the category was created i feel sure that Steve would be up there at the top of the list-and quite rightly so.It has to be said-well done again.
At the risk of making this the Weldequip appreciation society, Thanks :-) He did it again, ordered on the Friday, ready to be delivered on the Monday (Is this a record for a Portamig 211?).
I am currently tidying up a workspace (I was relying on that 4 week lead time) but it looks good in my lounge at the moment.
When I start I'll post some pictures as I have been a voyeur for a while, so I guess I owe you at least that and the feedback is always appreciated.
Keep up the good work, best forum I've found on the net so far.
Another positive for Weldequip! Top service again.
I definately agree with the website thing, would be useful to show SWMBO where to buy my xmas prezzies from!!!!!!
I can't praise Steve enough, bought a PORTAMIG SWF 350S from him in May/June it arrived well packaged and undamaged with some spares thrown in f.o.c. I'm new to mig welding so as you can imagine I had lots of stupid questions before I decided on which welder to buy,Steve offered some sound advice on what would best suit my needs.Again when the welder arrived I had more stupid questions and Steve answered them all no matter how silly they were.If Steve were to set up a web site would we loose the personal touch which I for 1 would find a huge loss. It's hard to ask questions of a web site.By the way My welder had to come all the way to the Irish midlands.Keep up the good work Steve I'll always reccomend you without hesitation.A big thanks to Malcom for this forum without which I would never have learned so much about mig welding or have met Steve.
Thanks for reading,
Martin.
Bought a welder off Steve aswell over the summer and like vwhotrod mine had to come over to Ireland, every thing arrived quickly and very well packed and the only person who had a problem with the welder was the poor courier who had to left it out of his van on his own
