Weldcorp gasless mig 100

I'm a new starter to welding and still trying to work out the best unit to buy. I found the Italian made Weldcorp MIG 100 to be a desirable light weight and cheap at A$350 (or 235 pounds) I want something suitable for garage building using RHS 2mm thick max. The main task is to join flat pieces of 1.5mm steel to the ends of the RHS beams so they can be bolted or teck screwed to the structure.

Has anyone had experience with this unit who can tell me its limitations.

It's worth double checking what the max amps are of the machine, I realise it's called the 100 but if it is like a lot of the one's sold in the UK it may only be 90 amps tops.

They tend to name them with a number that's above their top range, obviously a marketing ploy to make you think you are getting something you are not.

For the task you mention I think personally I would prefer a 130 amp machine or even a 150 amp, would avoid running it flat out all the time and you may find in the future a 100amp can be a bit small for other projects that pop up.
