Take the side panel off & look at the circuit board behind the wire speed control knob. There will be an adjuster for the speed control; it's a small black square thing with a white arrow in the middle. You can turn this (with a fine screwdriver) clockwise or anti-clockwise, speeding up/down the wire feed. With the speed control dial on the front of the machine set at zero, the feed rollers should just about turn. Have a play around with the adjuster until you get that & you should find it welds better.
