Sorry the post got a bit hi-jacked! When you say 'araldite' I get worried, the epoxy family is huge - araldite is a brand name (like 'hoover') and they make a whole lot of different adhesives including PU's acrylics & methacrylates for lots of different applications. Have a look here http://www.silmid.com/araldite/adhesives.htm If RS products aren't available to you (where are you? France I seem to think - put it in your profile!) try googling filled epoxies. JB weld would do but I think there are better ones. have a look at the details of the various filled epoxies in the link I posted, some are described as 'replacing welding' many are metal filled (inc steel, bronze, aluminium, stainless & titanium) and heat tolerances are variable. Some epoxies get very soft at high temperatures, others can get brittle and age badly (especially if exposed to UV).ooer! check out the closet epoxy fetishist...
