Weight of tractor wheels?

I have been offered a pair of tractor wheels for a good price, and have been asked to make a giant fire bowl out of one.
Sounds like a great job, I might even make a pair and put the second one up for sale.
Question, a ball park weight for the wheel?
The are roughly 1100mm diameter by about 300mm deep.
Just after an approximate figure.
I figure on using 30mm box for three legs and triangulating them side to side and in towards the middle.

I think two of us moved a year or two back to make them less visible, playing the game if they have not been seen for two years nobody wants them.
I have checked before thinking of formally disposing of them.

Would be a pity to destroy them, looks fairly clean, there would be sale for them I think.

if you unbolt the centres and spin them it will make the fire pit deeper with dish being at the base

Maybe worth posting the photo on one of the old tractor websites. Somebody will recognise those wheels, and they could be worth real money to a person restoring some particular model.

Not more than 50 kgs each at a guess, and as Octo says, bolt the centres on the other way round and you'll have a better bowl.

I can 'just' lift the ones off my tractor, complete with tyres...not very high, and not for very long.
I reckon they weigh 80 - 100kg.

Octo, that is indeed central to the plan.
I dont think they are old just not relevant, they guys at the farm would know if they were worth anything.
Anyways, I was offered a decent price ages ago, I will check before making any decisions.
80-100kg, manageable at a pinch. There a fork lift at the prospective customers and at my end.
All sounds promising.

my guess would be 90-100 kgs as mentioned un bolt and spin the centre over, cut off the then bottom bead rim off then why not use a old landrover wheel welded in the centre as a stand so that you maintain the flat vase type shape, a bit of plating up on the holes and there you would have it

what tractor are they off as said shame to butcher them if there quite old {BLOODY VANDALL }

Id say lighter again, I have some smaller tractor wheels on my pony and I can pick them up to throw in the trailer, so under 40kg with tyres. I can *just* manhandle a full sized jcb 16.9x28 wheel with tyre into the back of my van unaided, so I'd guess they were nearer the 90kgs quoted.
A lot of the weight is in the tyre carcass itself too, and some of them are water filled, so eliminate those sources and theyre fairly manhandleable, and you dont have them to worry about already.

You dont generally need wheels when tarting a tractor up (sorry "restoring"), usually its the tyres that have dry rotted and require replacement so rimless tyres dont tend to attract that much value unless theyre some uber rare early ones.

I presumed you where asking the weight it was for paying the farm the scrap value for them?
Then I have reread it and thought when you said manageable that you might have meant lifting them as a completed fire pit coz you meantioned a fork lift at the customers, which I would guess would be 55 -60 kgs but if the legs /stand was more towards the centre it makes tilting it up onto its rim easier so it can be rolled into position and more manageable by one person.
I dont consider the weight of something as an issue having loads of lifting appliances available to me.
