I didn't read the whole topic, but did anyone already mention the suspected relation between Parkinson's disease and Roundup?

you can use vinegar and salt with a bit of washing up liquid in .it drops grass and weeds in a couple of hoursI cut the weed between pavement with a wire cutter, and the spray with vinegar/alcohol mix.
It is very time consuming and it doesnt work very well, but I have seen to many PD in my close circle; I don't think it is worth being at risk.
i tried it on mares tale last year and it didnt do well any tips or tricks , I think i bought it as a compost accelerator or something to avoid hassles shipping it ,, how much would need to go into a 5 gallon nap sack sprayer ?Yes it can be sprayed on. eBay is the best source for it - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184255787436
I'm sure that there have been legal cases re glyphosphate in the USA and the current (elaborate) packaging used in the EU suggests that they really do not want you to get it on your skin.I didn't read the whole topic, but did anyone already mention the suspected relation between Parkinson's disease and Roundup?

There's no need to go to all of that trouble. As long as you have a dry day, at least 4 hours without rain is recommended, and add a splash of washing up liquid to aid wetting (especially important if you're trying to kill off something with waxy leaves such as ivy). It's absorbed by the plant and stored in the root system. It mimics the plants natural food store but cannot be metabolised by the plant, so it starve to death. The root dies, end of story. Mares tail I spray it on, it kills it. Ivy, ditto. Absolutely anything that grows will succumb. Knotweed can be a bit more persistent so it's recommended to cut each stem and inject either a few crystals or solution.

Ill give it another go this spring , its cheap enough not to worry about mixing it a wee bit stronger .It was very effective at eradicating mares tail in my garden. I can't recall the concentration that I used, but there is a sheet normally enclosed with the package when bought as a compost accelerator that gives you some "history" and suggested mixing ratios. I think that I probably went a little stronger. You do need to use a wetting agent such as washing up liquid.
If its in tarmac, nip the shoot as soon as you see it, a few grains of AS. You'll never see that one againIt was very effective at eradicating mares tail in my garden. We've just spent a fortune on depitox and agritox, mixed 1.5 litres and 1 litre in a 60 litre atv mounted sprayer.
These are a selective weedkiller. Aim was to get rid of the ragwort in one of our pony paddocks.
It hit the docks immediately and wilted the clover but hasn't had much affect on the ragwort. Nearly two weeks gone now. First five days after spraying was dry, so wasn't washed off.
Any advice on ragwort killing. Don't want to use round up, as far too much to cover now and want to preserve what grass is left.

As I mentioned - I crawled aroudn the garden, using a plastic syring to shove it down the stems of snapped off stalks - I was over-run the first year, but noticeably less each year.Ill give it another go this spring , its cheap enough not to worry about mixing it a wee bit stronger .
I'm needing to kill off a lot of weeds on a 1/2 acre site before new lawn is sown probably need more than a litre bottle of roundup! Any suggestions as to what to buy to apply with a sprayer?
