Wedding Horseshoe

My daughter is getting married in a few weeks, and wifey has come up with the idea of me polishing up one of the small horseshoes i have hanging around the garden, I have a fleece mop and some flap wheels, I guess I am after as good a finish as I can get, any suggestions gratefully received, I as father of the bride also have to make a speech, I'm not very good at that sort of thing so any advice there too please

Get they to elope! Is it worth polishing old shoes when chromed ones are available quite cheap and then make a nice stand that is also e.g. A wine bottle holder?

some here Paul they do the plastic ones as well normal bit more welder friendly

There all over mod buildings its got the submarine service Crest on other side. It's been on go a couple of years now so should be good for life of adverse site mug
