the font used on wrought iron gates and estate fencing & what we do looks a bit clumsy and almost liketheresnogaps

I only wish I could honestly tell because I am out there doing quite a bit of marketing now it's going to be hard to tell. Once we get fully listed by Google I shall be starting on Google ad works at present you won't even find the site without typing in the name through a search

There's a lot of different devices out there Kent but on this 7" tablet it looks fine and is very useable

Looks good. As previously said, change the gates & railings so it fits on one line.

I'd also consider getting a "landline" number and direct calls to your mobile. It tends to look more a little more professional that way. Gradwell or Focus Group can easily sort that. You would also be able to get call numbers to tell you if people were calling you from the number on your site.

As an aside you can also put phone numbers on Google ads, and use a dynamic tag so that the same number is carried though to your site, this allows you to A/B test ad copy to see which performs better.
