The hosepipe ban was mentioned earlier on, it's coming, we live in an area with a lot of reservoirs and the main ones are getting low, the lowest I've ever seen them was 2018, it's not that bad, yet.

Bit of a rant their apologies

lets just say westyorkshire /yorkshire shouldnt ever need a water hose ban our dams are widespread and fed from all over the country

if you know your history enough the dams and waterways of our area are one of the best as they fed the mills in the area

even if you factor in running a tap constant for bathing its not near enough for what the big mills used

yet it was in 1976 when it was really hot for a few weeks i always remembered we all went swimming in the Derwent damn where they trained for the dam busters

I`d be worried about swimming there,you could end up with a Lancaster bomber dropping one of those bouncy things they used stuck up your rear end.
