Too hot to work outside aswell, I've got a fair bit of fab work to do but it's a killer working in this heat so I've put it off

got no sleep last nite even though I had a fan on just got the portable air conditioner out and exhaust it up in to the attic a few beers and a tramadol should help tonite as well as being cool I hope

i can sleep in most heat except that red hot summer we had years ago no chance of sleep in that heatwave

ive spent many a time getting burnt on the red hot slates on a roof even the butt cheeks got burnt sat on top of the ridges

cooked with building dormers just like a sauna up there

even i had my hair streaked it was too much for dark hair

nowadays i tend to avoid the sun a little more but have sunbathed in it

Englandshire has always been “Too” weathery.

Too wet, too cold, too windy, too hot, too muggy, too dry, too unpredictable, bah, too anything.

So tell me chaps, what does “just right” look like?

Although it’s lovely,it’s a worrying trend,every month a record,the ground all cracked within 2 weeks of that continual wet winter,the river as low as the driest July,feel sorry for hill farmers,another year of expensive winter fodder,as the thin soil can’t hold enough moisture.
A few gates not latching as the ground dried and posts moved.
Anyone remember my posts in the winter of the floods,look at this now,that stone only sticks out in extreme summers,we’re not in June and it’s broken the surface since April,never seen that in 33 years.
That’s a few families of Canada geese on the opposite bank,5 adults and 27 goslings.been swimming most lunchtimes and evening,me and my family that is.

Aye, it's definitely no fun working in it. Especially when one's a ginge. I'm fortunate in that I have acclimatised to the degree where I tan rather than just burning though, now.
