I look at 3 and pick the best!I look at 3 and work out an average
It’s odd that most people involved with weather predicting say the opposite?Back in the late 90s the weather forecast was surprisingly accurate. Then they introduced a new supercomputer - never been right since!
I use XCweather and the Met Office mainly.
I’d struggle to really recall weather forecasts back in the 90’s (obviously I do vaguely remember them getting it badly wrong in 87) as I was young(ish) and not that interested in such things but as I’ve got older and have taken more notice I think it’s currently as good as I can ever remember - certainly the forecast for a couple of days ahead is usually ok, any more than that and I think there is a big element of (very educated) guesswork and previous experience that they have to rely on…
Im not talking weeks ahead just a few days. They regularly say on a Thursday for instance, rain on a Sunday, and by the time it gets here its dry (or vice versa.)Try puppies they are more accurateThen I throw a kitten out the window and see what happens
