I have a few things on the next few weekends that depend on dry weather and and find the met office/bbc to be totally unreliable. What forecasts do you find accurate? (and I know I'll get conflicting answers!!)

I also find weather predictions to be a bit off.
obviously some need to know what the weather is doing and will use “better” systems.
wonder what farmers use ?

Hi, At the airport they used paid services and I've came to realise it's not an exact science. more a best guess.

I use ,XC Weather , app. It was recommended by a fishing boat skipper. It is fairly accurate.

BBC weather is fairly accurate never use the awful one on my phone

I look out the window - not raining, do outside stuff.

Raining - do inside stuff.

Look at met office forecast as an estimate - ask farmer next door neighbours if I want a better idea.

The most reliable I've found is The Weather Outlook Very good for up to 7 days, beyond that forecasts are all 'most likely' at best.

Country file weather forecast is usually pretty accurate.

Back in the late 90s the weather forecast was surprisingly accurate. Then they introduced a new supercomputer - never been right since!
I use XCweather and the Met Office mainly.

That is exactly right.

I use the weather forecast for an Astronomy site called " Clear Outside ".
Works better than most, and you can write in a specific town or area for the local conditions that can be expected.

I use xcweather. Recommended by a pilot friend, found it‘s very good compared to bbc.

Weather doesnt matter if you dress properly. But normally use met office.

weather isnt an exact science. And if you have trouble sleeping try studying it!

BBCWeather for me, hour-by-hour forecast for the village and generally pretty accurate.
