Seems there's two common materials, polyamide and UHDWPE that can be used but does anyone have any suggestions to what would typically be used in a sliding boom style arrangement?
For various reasons I need to ideally pull the extra dig out of my 2CX's back actor before I do any damage that is preventable.
There's a bucket load of wear pads inside the boom and being a 2CX some are a little odd and specific (I think), but regardless that bucket load of pads adds up quickly. So I'm wondering about just getting a slab of suitable material and making my own since they're just blocks with some countersunk holes in them.

. Used to have all the parts diagrams and part numbers from there but they've now apparently moved it to a £3k / year subscription FFS.
. Should have scraped the website whilst there was public access.
