WD40 chain cleaner, chain lube & chain wax

I have no personal experience with these products, any bikers on here already use them? Are they any good??

They can't be bad for the chain, anything is better than nothing. I use Jizer then EP90 applied sparingly.

I wonder if any of the bike mags have reviewed/compared any of their products against the rest?
There's always been conflicting views over using something like a wet sticky wax which could hold any grit/dirt, verses a 'dry' oil.

Many years ago I remember PJ1 coming out on top in most back to back reviews, things may have moved on since then though.

I used to use a scottoiler, then a lubeman, but now I just use a inch brush and engine oil, in one of those small scottoiler bottles, with the brush in a plastic bag

I recall having to bake the chain in the grease in the oven to get it into the rollers then letting it cool to solidify, stunk the house out.:-)

First job on bikes at the shop is to bin the Scottoiler and block the vac tube I use an old toothbrush to apply EP90 to my chain.

Back in the days we used to heat up some graphited grease on the kitchen stove til it was liquid, then run the chain through it. Then hang it out to dry, all good clean fun..
I'm sure that would still work well with old skool chains, but 'O' ring chains would get no benefit. The grease couldn't get in.

What do Reynolds etc recommend these days, I wonder?
