I read a thread (can't find it now) and someone said to use Waxoyl if the welds are overlap on an auto to prevent future rust. Can anyone explain the Waxoyl product? How could you use it if there is no access to the lap? What exactly is it as I thought Waxoyl was a product/company name? I am a shop teacher but new to the MIG and I just got some pro tips from a MIG instructor as we MIG welded up an Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite tub together and it was fun but not as easy on thin metals. Butt welds are very hard but I am determined to learn the technique now that I have broken in my new MIG welder.
