Machine embroider over it. With whatever you feel like, sewing machine nice wide weave?
Its not so good for the water proofing thoughThis will actually work, just use iron on waterproof tape to seal the inside.

I’ve made little embroidered waterproof covers for metal detector control boxes, and the waterproof tape is amazingly effective. It just needs to be properly applied.
I'm with @mrsbruce - waterproof tape keeps the water out on my bike waterproofs and tent through some serious storms. You could use tent seam seal on the inside over the stitches which would do the same job and not show. You can get custom embroidered patches made even iron on ones, but personally I'd sew and seam seal.
They used to be stuck on the outside! I was a 'gore-tex consultant' many years ago, I shall now go and hand in my certificate in shame! They are only for repairing cuts rips & tears from the inside .
Thanks for all the replies, some of which were actually helpful.
And I might just take @mrsbruce up on the offer of an embroidered patch, if I can design something suitable for such a devilishly handsome and talented boy like me.
Be aware that if you require to wear this orange Hi Viz on Network Rail sites their rules stipulate that all contractors must wear full orange PPE with the company logo prominently displayed on the rear of the vest/jacket - this is to make contractors easily identifiable to Network Rail.
I could get you the exact wording of their rule, but I'd have to go and dig out my Network Rail Sectional Appendix in my work bag, but that's in my locker at work.
