Evening forumites ,
Ok so we seem to have really good mains water pressure here , it's a small hamlet with about 10 houses and every few months there seems be be leaks on the stop taps /joints out side the properties ....
Recently a neighbour had a stop tap blow apart (the newer plastic type )
Anyway since that's been fixed by Severn Trent there seems to be more pressure than ever .....
The hot water is from a pressurised cylinder (megaflow ) with a max pressure of 3 bar via a pressure reducing valve
The cold is more pressure than that ......
Anyway my problem is the shower now only gets luke warm I'm guessing from the pressure differential ,so will. Need to fit a pressure reducing valve on the incoming mains does this sound right ???
Cheers Mike
