I’m having our lead water main replaced, United Utilities have even promised some money towards it.
Anyway, the existing one is coated with condensation this time of year, sometimes there’s a puddle on the floor.
Obviously I just need to insulate this, but I’m having the new one in a different location and it will be boxed in so harder to inspect.
Here, next to these 3 pipes
Is it ok just to use normal pipe lagging and box over it, or should I fill it up with rock wool or something too?
