PTFE resistant to a wide variety of chemicals, solvents and temperature. Is that oil resistant?
But did you choose the red or the blue one? Thanks all.
I took a chance on one of these from screwfix. https://www.teslauk.com/product/7627/approved-lever-ballvalves-compression - only looked up the part on their website afterwards and the data sheet talks about water/oil so assume all ok with this.
Haha. It has both as bands and a black handle?!But did you choose the red or the blue one?

In theory, a ball valve should only work in two positions, open or closed. They cannot smoothly regulate the flow. A valve with a screw allows you to slowly adjust the cross section and flow.I think they use gate valves mostly from what ive seen, cant see why a ball valve wont be ok except a lot of the cheap ones leak from new
