It was hot work, 30 in the shade in Prague today, hotter round here.

I have seen similar setups at fun fairs in my country, they were doing nice roses out. Of sheet meal... Couple of gipsy blacksmiths were also interested in the trade/watching with interest, overhere they used to do alambics and copper pots for alcohool distilation... Some of them pots are beautifully stitched together with no welds whatsoever, just folded metal beaten to a smitten! A lost art methinks!

Coppersmiths still exist it's just they are fewer and older
BAE brought one in to sort the copper hydrolic lines on the typhoons not long back Apperently he got a bit shirty with a 30 something engineer who tried telling him how he couldn't do it before he did what they could not.
