Sorry fixer I have seen what can and can't be done. Without a guy looking at detail at any dent it is impossible to say it will come out. As the snooper says once the steel is stretch to a certain point the only way to fix it is pull/heat it out and then fill. It's not ignorant it's reality.

Your denial and negative assesment of PDR isn't even credible Rocketman - Its common knowledge PDR is very effective. You may as well be claiming that welding isn't possible. I'll leave you to whatever agenda it is you have.

we have a place here called dent magic, not sure if they are a national thing or just a small shop here, but they are damn good at what they do. my mate bought an st220 mondeo a few months back, had a golfball ding in the back door, 2 small dings in the boot lid that looked like they had been done with a chisel and a wide shallow dent in the passenger door after a motox bike had been dropped onto it. took them about 45 mins apparently using a resin to attach the puller, then after pulling cracked the resin off. you can still see a very very minor imperfection in one of the dings on the bootlid, but only if you are looking for it and know where it is. I was very impressed with how it came out, looks like a brand new car now after a polish up
Please explain then if the steel has stretched where the addition material will go when it is pulled out.
I have no denial I have realistic assertions of what is and isn't possible. Where as you are in the belief that it can do anything.

have a look at his vids ...its amazing what some people can do , but theres alot of cowboys about too
as for the painting video whats all the fuss , someone doing a quick bodge over a another bodge job , hardly what we aspire to is it ? all the failed clear what he painted over will come off sooner or later

Rocketman, If I knew all the answers to your questions about exactly how they do it… A) I'd be doing it myself B) I wouldn't tell you C) I wouldn't post the answers on a public forum. I've seen youtube videos where they remove whacking great horrible dents with all sorts of creases and kinks on swage lines and everything and they git it all out, panel looking visually perfect bar a few tiny high and low spots which are almost lost in the orange peel of the paint (that small)… and even that can usually be wet flatted away. Where have you been? I guess the clues in the username

When you say ridiculous, what you mean is you haven't got an answer for it because you know your wrong. The ridiculous questions, statements and inferences in this thread are all easily found - they are all by Rocketman.

To say I know zero about the subject is also ridiculous and beside the point. Like most other people, I'm aware of the fact that there are skilled people who can effectively repair some (but not all) dents in car bodywork without the need for the lengthy, costly and often problematic traditional body shop repairs. They use various levers and sometimes suction or hot glue pulling tools, tap downs and hammers. They sometimes use specialised reflectors and lights to work by that enable them to read the dent. They sometimes finish by wet flatting. Ive know all this because after calling one round to remove a dent from my car, I was fascinated and watched a few videos on youtube.
And whats ironic is you chucking accusations that I know zero and my posts are ridiculous… That is ridiculous and ironic.

Now perhaps you can ask a guy if they would say they could remove dents from a bonnet without seeing it other than a low res video off you tube.
