it's lpg only, starts and runs on it

I ran it as the main forklift for years, had a few problems with it but most of the time it was decent

I needed to use it then so was reluctant to do any non-essential big jobs on it... it's a spare now so a bit of down time doesn't matter :-)

Does the engine start on lpg

Yes it’s the only fuel in a gas forklift

Do lpg engines have any form of enrichment device like a choke ?

Mine does, the choke butterfly in the carburettor is locked half on but mine is probably different compared to the one @knighty has as the one I have uses a standard carburettor
